June 2085: graduation day

High school graduating classes of 2085:

Lakeside Heights: Ruby McCullough, Parker Michen
Sunrise Shores: Gloria Garth, Shiloh Morgan

Belated pictures from Ruby's graduation and grad party, because this would have happened in June.

I had once taken these pictures thinking I would do a blog story for it, but it became too big and involved and novel-like, so I decided it was the kind of story that would be better suited to books instead. For reasons. Too complicated, overwhelming and smothering the neighborhood. Too many books to write for one lifetime. Life happening. Need to conserve and funnel and allocate my creative energy. And junk.

But I already took these pictures, so I figured I might as well share some of them here, to mark the occasion of these proud young people at the culmination of their high school years.

Parker was another graduate this year, though I didn't really do anything special for him in game. He doesn't turn eighteen until August though, so I'm not sure if I even could have without messing up his birthday. So instead, here he is filling out his financial aid paperwork on campus, with his funny little mustache that he decided to grow all by himself, because I sure as hell didn't put that on him, lol! But I do think I'm gonna let him keep it. ;)

He and Ruby will start at LCU in September, along with Gloria from my Sunrise Shores hood. Oh, and I suppose Shiloh graduated this year too, but he's not going to university.

Okay then. What follows are a few pictures from Ruby's grad party. It basically goes like this:

- Kevin invited himself to Ruby's graduation party because she wasn't going to invite him herself.
- She also had no intentions of introducing him to her parents either, but it had to happen anyway.
- It was not as awful as she thought it would be.
- Joey invited Ocean to the party.
- Claude didn't have anyone to invite because all the girls in LH hate him.
- Ocean came to the party.
- Joey was happy.
- Ruby and Kevin ditched the whole thing to go do something a little more fun.

The end.

  1. LOL, the moustache is the kind of ill-advised thing an 18-year-old might do. Have you seen Justin Bieber's pathetic attempt at facial hair?

Gosh, Kevin is so handsome! And look, he even put on a shirt and tie to meet the parents. That's not bad.

Ha, shenanigans in a car! That's almost as classy as the bathroom! These were fun pics. :D

    1. Also, it's 1985, so somebody's gotta rock a mustache, right? And OMG, I cannot even believe Justin Bieber is old enough to grow facial hair, lol!

Kevin is awesome. He's really putting his all into this little relationship and for his sake, I wish I could say Ruby was doing the same. :\

  2. Ruby and Kevin, hahaha, that's just gold! Young love!

I do love seeing graduation pics, it's always nice to see sims progressing in their short little lives, or the long ones we give them. ;) Mine never really die because I get too attached to them. lol

    1. Oh man, mine never die either! I think they've maybe aged a single year since I've been playing them, lol! I'm hoping to move things along a little faster soon though because geeze, Sims 4 is coming out soon! (Not that I'm getting it right away, but still!)

  3. Love them sneaking off to fool around in the car, so typical! And the mustache is so bad! I hate those furry things, and do not look forward to my son having one and feeling... what? pride over it!? Eek. THe party looks fun, and glad the parent meeting didn't go as bad as she feared.

    1. Fooling around in the car has to be a rite of passage, right? I suppose Kevin has an actual apartment for them to fool around in now, though I would place bets that the back seat of Ruby's car is a whole lot more sanitary than Kevin's donation mattresses. ;)
