I'm also just practicing posing the Sims together, and oh man! This is hard! TS3 Sims make the goofiest faces! And I *need* a freezer clock! :( Can somebody make me one please!?!
So there's two *finished* Sims... out of like, 150, lol!
No, I have a few more *finished* than that: Lucy, April, Fiona, Phoenix, Micah, Mariah, and most of the kids I've done so far.
Beau, Justin, Keri, Brooke, Robbie, and Dallas still need some retouching... not to count all the ones I haven't even started yet! :o
I'll only be spending this much time on my main characters though. Children will approximate what they were meant to grow up looking like, but since you haven't seen what that is yet, if they look a little different in TS3, you wouldn't know it. And parents and characters whose stories have finished won't be getting as much screentime, so no need to be so picky there either.
I've done another version of Dallas:
I've been trying to find him a paler skintone (and this is not the one I'm sticking with!) - I thought I might try out this gray one, but whoa boy! That sure is *gray*! lol!
I've also done quite a bit of work to his facial structure, though I'm sure nobody would notice what that was but me. I really wish there was a slider to widen the brow, or the cheekbones independently from the rest of the face. Anybody seen one like that?

I think I've got his features a lot closer with this version, but I'll need new sliders to take it any further than I have.
And yes, a pale grayish skintone that isn't *quite* so shockingly gray, lol!
And better male eyebrows!!! OMG, I swear I've picked up every single male eyebrow I could get my grubby little hands on, and I still can't find any I like, especially not for Dallas! :\
They all look great! Lucy and Summer are very pretty :) Are you using additional face sliders?

ReplyDeleteDid you tweak Lucy a little as well? She looks a little more like TS2 Lucy now (and is super-pretty). And awesome job on Summer and Tyler as well.
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine what else you'd do to Dallas though. He already looks so close to TS2 Dallas to me!
And argh, yes, I hate most of the TS3 eyebrows. I always end up using the same two, because all the others just look like caterpillars to me!
Wow, Summer is really beautiful, and Lucy is so cute. And that skintone of Dallas sure is gray! He looks good, though. And I just love Tyler.

I know, I've stared at these guys so closely, and for so long, that I'm quite sure I'm the only one who would notice what was missing from them, lol! He is very, very close - it's just the forehead/brow that I'm being picky about, and I just don't have the right sliders for it :\
Rosa, thank you! Summer and Tyler have been my hardest so far, so I'm glad I finally got them right! But I've been having fun recreating them all anyway! :)
