I'm sorry I keep pushing this damn update back, again and again. I did actually start decorating for it a little today, which is what this spam is about. I think this was the only room I needed to do more with, so next time I get my game started up, I should be able to start taking pics. We'll see.
I have to actually remind myself to just work with what I have most of the time, in terms of decorating, especially if I really plan on remaking everything in TS3 this summer. Not much point decorating more in TS2 unless needed. I have it all plotted out in my head. There's a story at the end of this season that I know I'm going to need TS2 CC to do, so I'll have to get at least that far.
But then I have a moon base update in the next season, so because I haven't *actually* started much real building work on my moon base (apart from the beginnings of the terrarium, and the observation deck), I might as well wait to really start that. (Awww, but I'll miss my super-cool space sky...) For the record, I can't wait to start plotting out the new version of LCU, and copying over my trains system!!! (Are the subway stations movable 'n stuff? lol!) Getting ahead of myself though.
Anyway, this toddler room was needed, and I even find decorating toddler rooms fun and sort of relaxing, lol! So since I've got nothing else for you yet, how about a tiny little bit of picspam!?! ;)
This was an odd room to decorate, since Lily doesn't actually have her room decorated at her own (real and actual) house. And you know, if you think about that, that's probably quite telling as a story detail! ;)
I think the interaction is a result of what they have learned themselves as kids.
ReplyDeleteA sim who was never taught to walk/potty/talk, can’t teach other toddlers to walk/potty/talk when he is a teen/adult/elder.
But this would only be important if sims would actually have problems if they can’t walk/potty/talk. Every simkid has these skills, wheter they learnt it or not.
Where did you get child support ?
ReplyDeleteI would never complain about decorating spam. ;) Lily's room is adorable. At least she's got a room somewhere, if she hasn't got one at her own house! That crib set looks like Shoukeir's work, by the way.
ReplyDeleteThat's weird about the interactions. All my grandparents can interact with their grandkids as long as the relationship is past a certain point. I wonder if it has to do with whether you have Lily selectable or not. I make everyone selectable, lol.
And yes, you can move the subway stations around in TS3. Sandy has a very cool public transport system at Around my Sims. http://aroundthesims.free.fr/my_sims/transports.html
She even made a map, so of course, I thought of you!
Simphaesis, oh, I wonder if that has anything to do with it? I might have to do some testing on that.
ReplyDeleteThe child support? Oh man, that mod is so old. Does anyone remember where that came from? MATY maybe?
Carla, yes, I would have guessed Shoukeir too, and I know I have just about everything on that website, so it's probably.
Yes, I had her selectable. Agreed, I make everyone selectable too, lol! But sometimes it just doesn't work for me with some grandparents.
Oh good, I'm glad to see I can customize everything! I can't wait to get started! Whee, more trains! LOL
I remember the child support mod! By Monique. (Where ever did she go? She was so awesome!)
ReplyDeleteIt's here. She had so many handy financial mods.
Awww! What a cute room! Funny, I find decorating studies the most interesting, lol.
Yay, thanks for finding the link for me! Yes, Monique was awesome! :)
