After the current season, there are 5 more! Oh my geeze, this is a long story, lol! :o
Three have titles so far, and a lot of these stories are drafted already, though I'm sure the actual filling out and polishing of them all will take me a LONG time.
spring/summer 2084: "how to dance"
fall 2084: "burdens of the planet Earth"
winter/spring 2085: (not-yet-titled)
summer/fall 2085: "what I didn't know then"
spring/summer 2086: (not-yet-titled)
I am committed to finishing the whole thing though. And for as long as I know this is going to take, it'll give me lots of time to practice my photo & 3D illustrating skills for the spin-off. You know, the spin-off that I clearly won't be starting for another 5 years, lol! Ah well, at least I'll have fun in the process.
(And you know, it used to be that I could finish a season in like 2 months - now it's more like 10 months, lol! Eeek!)
And I know you guys don't want it to end anyway, so take comfort in the fact that it'll be around for a long time still ;)
Though, if all goes according to plans, the last 5 seasons will be illustrated with TS3 rather than TS2. After I finish the current season, I'm going to take a stab at Sims 3 and see what I can get it to do. I'll post up the results, and we can all weigh in on whether it passes the test or not.
Wow, this is going to be a long story! Sims 4 will probably be out by the time you get around to 2086.

I can't wait to see how you get on with Sims 3. I'm making my own S3 neighbourhood at the moment and although it's complicated (and sooooo time consuming) it's very rewarding. The level of detail you can go into is astounding - although I'm not sure if that's a good thing for someone who pays as much attention to detail as you do. You might never get around to playing the actual game! :D

ReplyDeleteI want to try Sims 3. I don't know if and when I'll get the chance. If I love it, I'll think of trying to tell my story in this realm.

ReplyDeleteCarla, Sims 4 probably will be out pretty soon, huh? lol! Maybe I'll jump on it late, like I'm doing with Sims 3. I do like having everyone else work out the kinks for me ;)
Lila, lol! I can see myself appreciating all those gorgeous details. I know I would spend forever on the hood if I tried to get it all done before I started playing, so to start, I'm just going to set up a few of the areas I know I'll need for upcoming stories, and then I'll work on the rest as I go. Hopefully I can cover up the unfinished parts in my story pics, lol!
Choco, it's a beautiful game and I can't wait to try it too. I hope I love it, lol! I suppose it's possible that I won't, and I have kind of hyped it up in my head after seeing everything that everyone else has done with it. I guess we'll see! :)
