reattached arms and crunch time...

I just realized I forgot to tell you guys which picture had the photoshopped arm, lol!

Leila's left arm actually cut down through the bed. So I took an arm from another picture, resized it and slotted it into position, and covered up whatever stuck out with extra bed sheet! :)

I'm sorry the next update is hella late! It probably won't be finished until after the weekend. Maybe Monday. Probably Tuesday or Wednesday. It's mostly written, and it's actually one of those ones I've had written for a long time. But I have no pictures for it, and I haven't even had a chance to turn on my game in weeks...

Well, except for that one time I turned on my game to take pictures of Drew in glasses, lol!

But after this coming update, I'm probably going to have to go "off-schedule". Not quite "hiatus" but definitely sporadic and less frequent updates. At least until this novel draft is done. I'm getting down to crunch time here, 7 weeks left until I've promised a whole bunch of beta-readers they could have it. And well, I'll be on a plane to England in June as well, so it's kind of a firm deadline anyway.

LH should be able to go back "on-schedule" some time in July.

The novel is coming along though, and I'm quite in love with the new version of Jodie and Amelia's story. It's pretty different! In fact, apart from a few scenes in the middle of the book, I'm not really sure if you guys will even recognize much of it at all. It's becoming more an "inspired by" kind of thing, rather than a direct adaptation. So I hope you'll all enjoy it. Novel Jodie is just as ballsy as ever. Maybe even more so, lol! Amelia and Drew are just as cute too! And I can't wait to share it with you when it's done! :)

  1. Good, because I was about to go and remind you that you never told us which photo had the reattached arm! And nope...I wouldn't have picked it. But I still studied the picture for a while looking for a seam or something. Seamless, damn you, lol!

I hope everyone will forgive you for going off schedule with LH, seeing you're being so productive in the meantime. ;) I'm glad you're so happy with how the novel is shaping up. I think it was always going to be something that would take on a life of its own, even if just because the original medium is rather limited. :)

  2. That is quite seamless, isn't it? I was pretty proud of myself, lol!

You're right about it taking on a life of its own. And I'm sure the second book will be much the same when I get to it. I hope everyone likes them the way they turn out! :)
